The 25th edition of the ITSA World Spintop Contest will take place in the island of Mallorca, Spain on October 18th. It will be followed by the 6th edition of the Mallorca Festival of Tops (Trovada Mallorquina de Baldufes) on the 19th. The top spintop players in the world will compete on stage with freestyles to music in the Open and Traditional divisions and will crown the 2024 ITSA World Spintop Champion.

Registration

The competition is open to all players from any country.

Registration at the venue before 4PM the day of contest is possible if there are time slots left for freestyling. If slots are full, no more competitors will be accepted.

Venue

The competition will take place at the Cloister of Santo Domingo, with an backup location in case of bad weather. Freestyles start on stage at 6PM. Address:

Lodging

Mallorca is a major tourist destination and the date is outside the main season, so there is abundant lodging at the Port of Pollensa, but not at the town itself. The official lodging are Apartamentos Llevant, in Puerto de Pollensa. It’s located 3 blocs from the beach and 8.5 km from the event venue (20 minutes by bus+walking). An apartment for 4 people is 100 euros a night or 25 euros per bed if you are sharing. Send email to worlds2024@spintops.org to reserve your place.

Competition rules

There will be two freestyle competitions: Open Division and Traditional Division.
Judging will be based on technical difficulty and showmanship during 3-minutes freestyles on stage. The detailed rules can be found here: Competition Rules
The winner of the Open Division will be declared the 2024 ITSA World Spintop Champion.

Festival and Spintop Olympiads

The festival starts 10:30 Saturday morning. At 4:00 PM starts the “Olimpíada Baldufera” with diverse spintop competitions (not official titles) such as long distance target, races with tops, highest toss and regeneration battles.
